Greg Tufnell is a highly experienced Chairman and Managing Director. He is an entrepreneur, strategist as well as a hands on operator with an instinctive focus on customers, driving business growth and creating value.

Greg has significant commercial, turnaround, fund raising and M&A experience across large Plcs and SMEs including multi channel retailing in the fashion, home, hard goods and toy sectors as well as experience across the sports, hospitality, recruitment and legal markets.

Greg has developed a wide understanding of European and Worldwide consumers and retailing through a combination of direct retail, wholesale, e-commerce, brand distribution and licensing experience.

As Trading Director, Greg was a key part of the turnaround at Next, merging the retail and mail order operations to create one of the first multi channel businesses. As Managing Director of Burton, Greg transformed losses of £12.5m to profits of £3.5m in 2 years and as Managing Director of Mothercare re-launched the mail order catalogue as well as launching the Mothercare Direct e-commerce division to create one of the first UK retailers to fully integrate all channels including international.

Greg has a significant experience in the SME sector having led the turnaround and exit of Boxfresh, the UK’s first streetwear brand as well as the recovery of London Stock Exchange quoted brand house Marchpole, where Greg grew sales from £8.0m to £35.0m in 4 years adding £40.0m of shareholder value.

Greg has helped start several businesses and is the founder of Paragon Sports Management, a leading sports, hospitality, media and brand management group.

Greg’s current advisory and investment portfolio includes businesses in the fashion and luxury retail, legal and recruitment sectors.

He is the joint founder and joint Managing Partner of Prime Advantage Advisory and Prime Advantage Corporate Finance, two businesses that work exclusively in the SME sector to help companies and their owners develop and deliver growth strategies, raise funding and realise maximum value.
